Terms of service

The service

TilePlan Pro is a web-based tile layout planning tool. The free tier — including the layout calculator, the cost calculator, the pattern gallery, and our guides — is available without signup. The Pro tier adds multi-wall room mode, project save/share, and branded PDF export.

Accounts

You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account. Tell us right away at support@tileplan.cc if you suspect unauthorized access.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose.
• Attempt to disrupt, overload, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure.
• Scrape, systematically extract, or resell data from the service at scale.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the source code of the service, except where applicable law gives you the right to do so.

Pricing

The free tier doesn't require payment. Pro tier pricing is listed on the pricing section and billed via Flutterwave. We may change Pro pricing with at least 30 days' notice via email to active subscribers.

Your content and our IP

You own the tile layouts and project data you create. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and render that data on the site as part of providing the service. We don't claim ownership of your projects and we won't republish them elsewhere. In turn, the TilePlan Pro name, logo, and the software itself are our property — these terms don't grant you any rights to them beyond using the service as intended.

Disclaimer of warranties

The layouts, cut lists, and cost estimates TilePlan Pro produces are planning aids — they're close, but they're not a substitute for a contractor measuring your specific room. Always verify dimensions, account for substrate prep, and order an extra box of tile for repairs. We don't warrant that estimates match real-world install costs or quantities; tile prices and labor rates change. The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the operator is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including inaccurate estimates or lost project data. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service or violation of these terms.

Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing support@tileplan.cc. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service (e.g. attempting to attack our infrastructure, scraping content at scale, or violating laws). We'll email you first if your account is at risk of suspension.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator resides, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a dispute arises, we ask that you first contact support@tileplan.cc so we can try to resolve it informally before pursuing any formal claim.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the service evolves. If we make a material change, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and notify active Pro subscribers by email before the change takes effect. Continuing to use the service after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.
